Winnie is one of the most amazing women we've met in Tanzania. A loving mama, a great translator, and constantly chic - from assisting with girls' menstrual hygiene education or charging us forward on safari. We're also admire another Winnie closer to home - and think she would have loved our skirts!
Our Winnie Reversible Wrap Skirt is just as amazing. Hand-sewn African Kitenge cloth (100% cotton and locally made) featuring TWO fabrics which flow gracefully together. Feeling floral? Winnie's got you! Need a bold pattern to set the tone? Just reverse...amazing!
Note that there are two styles - pencil (a straighter, "brunch at the museum" look) and flare (perfect for a wedding, a garden party, or similar). Pair either with a short or long sleeve t/tank - and top with a jacket and - WOW, just WOW!
SIZING Note: Given the wrap style, especially with the flare style which ties to close, there is some "flexibility" in terms of waist size. S/can fit those who typically wear 4-6 (US skirt size); M/can fit those who typically wear 8-10 (US skirt size); L/can fit those who typically wear 12+ (US skirt size). We will be introducing additional skirt sizes in the near future!
